STRING EXTRAVAGANZA
PLANNED FOR
THIRD YELLOWSTONE
CHAMBER PLAYERS CONCERT
Yellowstone Chamber
Players will present the third concert of their season on Sunday, November 20,
at 3:00 pm, at the Yellowstone
Art Museum. The program will
consist of two works for enlarged string ensembles, both familiar and cherished
works. The first half of the program will be the Mozart Quintet KV 614 in Eb Major, which is for string quartet and an added viola.
And the second half of the program will be the Mendelssohn Octet, Opus 20, for
double string quartet.
The musicians for the
program are: Mary LaMonaca, Julie Johnson, Melyssa Ostler, and Kathy Griffin, violins; Amy Letson
and Laura Dalbey, violas; and Carol Critelli and Joan Sorenson, cellos.
Admission is $10 at
the door.
